Repairs and Maintenance

Phone 4427 6087 to organise a suitable time and date for Nova staff to carry out repairs and maintenance in the comfort of your own home. Alternatively, equipment can be dropped to our showroom with same day repairs completed. Phone 07-44276087 to schedule a rapid response repair.
We only carry products that are reputable. All our equipment carries a manufacturers warranty. Please note: not all brands of assistive technology have available replacement parts however we will try our best to resolve the issue.

Nova Medical Australia offers a rapid response service on equipment breakdowns, repairs and small home modifications.

Terms and Conditions of Hire
Your hire agreement consists of the front page of this form and these Terms and Conditions.
You accept the hire of the equipment on these Terms and Conditions by signing and dating the front of this page, at the bottom of the page.
Upon signing this Agreement, you are acknowledging and agreeing that you have inspected the equipment and are satisfied that the equipment is suitable and in a condition or quality fit for your use and purpose.
Our Safety Standard and Seal of Hire Excellence
Nova Medical Australia acknowledges that the equipment has been inspected prior to or at the time of commencement of the hire and is satisfied that the equipment is in good working order.
The team and Nova Medical Australia hope that by providing a hire pool, assists with enhancing your quality of life. We are available any time to answer your queries. It is important to us that we provide you with the best possible service and care.
A minimum of one week rental applies to all Agreements. The full amount is required to be paid upon signing this Agreement.
If the equipment is not returned on or by the return date, the hirer is required to continue to pay the assigned weekly rental fee
Hire extensions are to be paid at the time the item is returned to Nova Medical Australia.
Hire to Purchase option
All hire equipment is available for purchase. Please contact one of our team members to discuss this option in relation to items which you currently have out on hire.
An authorised hire period may be extended by agreement from all parties. Any such extension will be on the same terms as set out herein.
Pickup and Delivery
The equipment always remains the property of Nova Medical Australia
For pickup and delivery within the Townsville Region, a Standard Delivery fee will apply. If the Borrower lives beyond the Townsville Region, and requires pickup and delivery, a separate fee will be advised and agreed upon prior to any delivery being made. Delivery includes any installation and demonstration required. If the hired item is in stock, delivery will be offered within 24 hours.

All rental equipment repairs are to be undertaken by Nova Medical Australia staff only.
Method of payment is cash, credit card or EFT. If the Agreement is breached, a fee of $100.00 will be incurred by the hirer.
The hirer is responsible for the hire item form the date of issue until the item/s are collected by Nova Medical Australia staff, or returned by the hirer.
Hire items are to be returned in good condition and in working order.
The hirer will be charged the replacement costs for a lost or damaged item. What is deemed beyond standard “wear and tear” during the process of use is at the discretion of Nova Medical Australia staff.
Hired items shall not be sold, transferred, assigned, mortgaged, pledged, re-hired, lent or otherwise deal with the equipment without the prior written consent of Nova Medical Australia.
If the hired item/s are lost or stolen, then Nova Medical Australia will charge the hirer the replacement value of the hired item. Replacement value shall be reasonably determined by Nova Medical Australia.
The hirer is in default under this Agreement if you breach any terms noted in this Agreement. If a default occurs the hirer is required to pay Nova Medical Australia the balance owing under the Agreement immediately and item/s will be picked up within 24 hours.
Termination of the Agreement and Return of the Equipment
The hirer may return the equipment at a mutually agreed time for pick up. Nova Medical Australia can demand the return of the equipment hired at any time if you are in default under the Agreement.
Care of the Equipment
The hirer agrees to adequately clean equipment using a disinfectant and non-scratch cloth prior to returning item/s.
The hirer agrees to take proper care of the equipment and return it in good working order and condition.
The hirer agrees to use the equipment in accordance with the instructions and as Nova Medical Australia recommends to you.
The hirer must immediately report any problems in the use of the equipment to Nova Medical Australia in writing of via phone.
The hirer agrees to not mark, alter, number, cover up or attempt to repair the equipment.
If hire equipment is returned uncleaned a fee of $10.00 will apply.
